Snowy Pine Cabins

On a winter evening, two log cabins with glowing windows sit by a winding blue stream. Snowy pine trees and snow-capped rocks line the banks. Light purple mountains rise under a peach sky. It's a good next step once you've painted a few pictures. Your paint stays inside the lines, so the blue stream won't spill onto the snow.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky peach, with soft blue at the top. Paint the mountains light purple and add their shade with Darker.
2. Tap Texture twice and choose Clouds. Dab soft clouds in light purple.
3. Go back to your brush. Paint the stream blue, with a gold streak down the middle. Tap Texture twice and choose Water, then brush ripples over it.
4. Go back to your brush. Paint the cabins light brown, then add the shade under the roofs with Darker. Leave the snow white, with pale blue shade in the dips.
5. Paint the rocks light brown and add their shade with Darker. Draw the fence posts with the Pencil in dark brown.
6. Paint the pine trees green and add their shade with Darker. Dab snow on the branches and gold on the windows with Gouache.
