Snowline Dawn

Pink dawn light spreads over snowy mountains and a half-frozen river. The peaks and the glowing sky shine back in the still water. Snowy pine trees and round rocks line the banks. Save this one for when you want a longer painting with lots of detail. Your paint isn't kept inside the lines here, so take it slowly near the edges.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky pink, with soft purple at the top. Zoom in and use a small brush near the edges.
2. Paint the snowy mountains pale pink and add their shade in soft blue. Paint the far forest dark blue-green. If paint goes over a line, tap Undo.
3. Paint the river pale blue, with pink where the sky shines in it. Tap Texture twice and choose Water. Brush ripples over the river.
4. Go back to your brush. Paint the snow banks pale pink, then add their shade in pale blue.
5. Paint the rocks grey-brown and add their shade with Darker. Paint the pine trees dark green.
6. Dab snow on the pine branches and the sun with Gouache in the palest cream. Draw the bare bushes with the Pencil in brown.
