Alpine Sunrise

The sun rises behind snowy mountains, and soft mist fills the valley below. Pink clouds float in a gold sky. In front, a steep hillside has big pale rocks, pine trees and pink and white flowers. Pick this one when you want a long painting with lots of detail. Your paint isn't kept inside the lines, so take care near the edges.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky light gold. Zoom in and use a small brush near the edges.
2. Paint the top of the sky soft blue. Tap Texture twice and choose Clouds. Dab the clouds pink with soft dabs.
3. Go back to your brush. Paint the snowy peaks cream and their shade blue-grey. If paint goes over a line, tap Undo.
4. Paint the mist the palest cream and the far ridges soft blue. Paint the big rocks light grey, then add their shade with Darker.
5. Paint the hillside olive green and the path light brown. Tap Texture twice and choose Foliage. Dab the pine trees dark green.
6. Go back to your brush. Paint the pink flowers rose pink. Dab the sun and the white flowers with Gouache in the palest cream.
