A snow leopard rests on a rocky ledge high in the mountains. Its thick spotted tail curls in front as it looks out over the clouds. Snowy peaks and the rising sun shine behind it. It's for when you want a longer painting with lots of detail. Here your paint isn't kept inside the lines, so take it slowly near the edges.
How to paint it
- Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky blue, with gold near the sun. Zoom in and use a small brush near the edges.
- Paint the snowy peaks very pale blue, then add their shade with Darker. Paint the rocky ridges below dark blue. If paint goes over a line, tap Undo.
- Tap Texture twice and choose Clouds. Dab soft pale lavender clouds over the valleys.
- Go back to your brush. Paint the rocks light brown and the grass olive green. Tap Texture twice and choose Stone, then dab over the rocks.
- Go back to your brush. Paint the snow leopard cream and shade its belly with pale blue-grey. Tap Texture twice and choose Fur, then add short strokes the way the fur grows.
- Add the dark spots and the eye outlines with the Pencil and the darkest colour. Dab the sun with Gouache in the palest gold.
