Two pink flamingos wade in the shallow blue water of a salt marsh. One stands tall, and the other bends down to drink. Tall green reeds grow along the banks, with mountains far away. It's a good next step once you've painted a few. Your paint stays inside the lines, so the pink won't run into the water.

How to paint it

  1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky light blue. Paint the far hills soft violet, then add their shade with Darker.
  2. Tap Texture twice and choose Clouds. Dab soft cream clouds above the hills.
  3. Go back to your brush. Paint the water light turquoise, then add the deeper parts with Darker. Paint the muddy banks sandy brown.
  4. Paint the reeds and grass green, with gold on some of the tips. Add their shade low down with Darker.
  5. Paint the flamingos coral pink. Tap Texture twice and choose Fur. With Darker, add short strokes along the wing feathers.
  6. Draw the legs rose pink with the Pencil. Add the black beak tips and the eyes in the darkest colour.
