Rabbit with a Book

A rabbit in a blue jacket sits on a green garden bench, reading a red book. A pot of yellow flowers stands beside the bench. Behind it are green trees and a blue sky with one white cloud. The shapes are big and simple, so it's a good first painting. Your paint stays inside the lines, so the rabbit's colour stays off the bench.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky light blue. Paint the trees green and the ground light brown.
2. Paint the bench green and add the shade under the seat with Darker. Paint the pot orange, the flowers golden yellow and their leaves green.
3. Paint the jacket blue and the book red. Add the shade in the jacket folds with Darker.
4. Paint the rabbit light brown and the insides of its ears pink. Tap Texture twice and choose Fur. With Darker, add short strokes the way the fur grows.
5. Add the eyes, nose and whiskers with the Pencil. Dab the cloud and the tail with Gouache in the palest cream.
