A puffin stands on a rocky cliff above the deep blue sea. It has black and white feathers and a bright orange beak and feet. Pink flowers grow at the edge of the cliff. The shapes are big and simple, so it's a good first painting. Your paint stays inside the lines, so the blue sea won't spill onto the puffin.

How to paint it

  1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky light blue. Paint the sea deep blue.
  2. Tap Texture twice and choose Water. Brush ripples over the sea, then tap Darker for the deep parts.
  3. Go back to your brush. Paint the cliff light grey, then add its shade with Darker. Dab a little light brown on the rocks.
  4. Paint the grass green and the flowers pink. Paint the puffin's back and head in the darkest colour. Leave its chest and face white.
  5. Paint the beak and feet orange. Add the eye with the Pencil. Dab white clouds and a few white spots on the sea with Gouache.
