A blue and gold parrot sits on a branch in an orange tree. Ripe oranges and green leaves fill the corners. Far behind, white houses sit by a blue bay below a mountain. It's a good next step once you've painted a few pictures. Your paint stays inside the lines, so the blue wings won't spill onto the leaves.
How to paint it
- Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky light blue. Paint the far mountain grey-blue, the sea blue and the houses cream.
- Paint the branch brown, then add its shade underneath with Darker. Paint the oranges orange and shade their lower sides with Darker.
- Paint the big leaves and the trees behind green. Tap Texture twice and choose Foliage. Dab leaves over the trees far behind.
- Go back to your brush. Paint the wings and back blue and the chest gold. Add the shade under each feather with Darker.
- Paint the face cream and the beak dark grey. Add the eye, feet and face lines with the Pencil and the darkest colour. Dab soft cream clouds in the sky with Gouache.
