A large moth spreads its pink and gold wings, with dark round spots. It has a fuzzy body and feathery feelers. Magnolia branches with pink and white flowers curve around it on a cream background. Try this one once you've painted a few easier pictures. Your paint stays inside the lines, so every band and spot stays crisp.
How to paint it
- Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the background cream.
- Paint the branches brown and the leaves green, then add their shade with Darker. Paint the flowers cream, with pink near the base of each petal. Paint the centres light gold.
- Paint the wings dusty pink, with light gold bands and cream edges. Add the shade near the body with Darker.
- Paint the body light gold. Tap Texture twice and choose Fur. With Darker, add short strokes the way the fur grows.
- Add the eye spots with the Pencil: a gold ring and a plum centre. Draw the feathery feelers in light gold too.
