Garden Gate Morning

A wooden garden gate stands half open under a blue morning sky. Stepping stones lead through the grass towards green hills. Pink flowers and yellow daisies grow by the fence, under a big tree. The shapes are big and simple, so it's a good first painting. Your paint stays inside the lines, so the sky won't spill onto the gate.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky soft blue. Paint the far hills sage green.
2. Tap Texture twice and choose Clouds. Dab soft cream clouds in the sky.
3. Go back to your brush. Paint the gate and fence light brown, then shade between the boards with Darker. Paint the stepping stones lavender grey.
4. Paint the grass sage green. Tap Texture twice and choose Foliage. Dab the tree and bushes green, then dark green in the shade.
5. Go back to your brush. Paint the tree trunk brown and the flowers pink and yellow. Add the hinges and ring with the Pencil and the darkest colour.
