Tuscan Hills

A pale path winds through golden Tuscan fields and tall, thin trees. An old olive tree stands on the left above a low stone wall. Far away, a hilltop town sits below blue mountains. Try it when you want a longer painting with lots of detail. Your paint isn't kept inside the lines here, so take it slowly near the edges.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Zoom in and use a small brush near the edges. If paint goes over a line, tap Undo.
2. Make the brush big and paint the sky blue. Tap Texture twice and choose Clouds. Dab the clouds softly in cream.
3. Go back to your brush. Paint the far mountains soft blue and the hilltop town cream. Paint the fields gold, with Darker in the dips.
4. Paint the farmhouse light ochre and its roof orange-brown. Paint the path pale cream and the stone wall light grey, with Darker underneath.
5. Paint the tall thin trees dark green and the olive trunk brown. Tap Texture twice and choose Foliage. Dab grey-green leaves on the olive tree and bushes.
6. Draw the vine rows with the Pencil in dark green. Add the lavender stalks in soft blue. Dab small yellow flowers at the front with Gouache.
