Lavender Field

Long rows of purple lavender run towards a stone farmhouse with an orange roof. Tall dark cypress trees stand beside it. Beyond, golden fields and green woods roll back to blue mountains under a summer sky. Pick this one when you want a longer painting full of detail. On this one, paint isn't kept inside the lines, so go slowly near the edges.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Zoom in and use a small brush near the edges. Make the brush big and paint the sky blue.
2. Tap Texture twice and choose Clouds. Dab the clouds soft cream. If paint goes over a line, tap Undo.
3. Go back to your brush. Paint the far mountains soft blue and the fields light gold. Paint the farmhouses light beige and their roofs orange.
4. Tap Texture twice and choose Foliage. Dab the woods and olive trees green. Dab the tall cypress trees dark green.
5. Go back to your brush. Paint the paths between the rows light brown. Paint the lavender purple, with green at the base, and add its shade with Darker.
6. Add the windows with the Pencil and the darkest colour. Dab pale lilac tips on the front lavender with Gouache.
