A record shop glows at dusk under a dark red awning. Records in bright covers stand in the window. Outside, the wet street shines in the lamplight. It's a good next step once you've painted a few. Your paint stays inside the lines, so each record cover stays neat and separate.
How to paint it
- Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Paint the dusk sky lavender and the far town soft blue. Paint the trees on the left dark green.
- Make the brush big and paint the brick wall red-brown. Add the shade by the awning with Darker. Paint the shop front and door blue-green.
- Paint the awning dark red, with Darker in its folds. Paint the inside of the window pale gold. Add the shelves and books with Darker.
- Paint the record covers red, blue and gold. Paint the records dark grey and their labels red or gold.
- Paint the street grey, the pot orange-brown and the plants green. Add the lamp posts with the Pencil. Dab pale gold on the lamps and wet street with Gouache.
