Rainy Evening Café

A green armchair sits in a quiet café corner by a rainy window. A small table holds a cup of coffee and a slice of pink cake. A lamp glows beside the chair. It has more to paint but clear shapes, so it's a good next step. Your paint stays inside the lines, so the green chair won't spill onto the blanket.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky in the window blue. Paint the tree outside green with a brown trunk.
2. Tap Texture twice and choose Foliage. With Darker, dab leaves over the tree.
3. Go back to your brush. Paint the walls, curtains and rug cream, and the floor brown. Add the shade in the curtain folds with Darker.
4. Paint the armchair green, then add its shade with Darker. Paint the tables and the lamp stand brown. Paint the books green, pink and blue.
5. Paint the blanket and cushion cream, with gold stripes on the blanket. Paint the cake pink, the plant green and the pot orange.
6. Dab white on the lamp shade, the steam and the raindrops with Gouache. Add the coffee with the Pencil and the darkest colour.
