Rain runs down a window looking out over a city at dusk. Tall towers fade into grey mist, and a lit bridge crosses the river. Inside, a coffee cup and books sit on the sill. It's for when you want a longer painting with lots of detail. Here your paint isn't kept inside the lines, so take your time near the edges.
How to paint it
- Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky light grey-blue. Zoom in and use a small brush near the edges.
- Paint the far towers soft grey-blue and the river blue-grey. If paint goes over a line, tap Undo.
- Paint the near buildings and bridge light brown, and add their shade with Darker. Tap Texture twice and choose Foliage. Dab green leaves over the trees.
- Go back to your brush. Paint the window frame and sill dark brown, and the lamp shade cream. Paint the cup cream and the books green and red.
- Paint the plant leaves green and the pot cream. Add the shade under each leaf with Darker.
- Dab the lit windows, street lamps and bridge lights with Gouache in pale gold. Brush thin streaks of gold on the river too. Draw a few rain lines on the glass with the Pencil.
