Cottage Kitchen

Afternoon sun pours through an open window into a farmhouse kitchen. A long wooden table holds a bowl of lemons and a jug of flowers. Green cupboards and clay pots line the walls. This is for when you want a longer painting with lots of detail. Your paint isn't kept inside the lines here, so go slowly near the edges.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the walls cream. Zoom in and use a small brush near the edges.
2. Paint the sky outside light blue and the far hills soft blue. Add the shade inside the arch with Darker. If paint goes over a line, tap Undo.
3. Paint the cupboards and window frame grey-green, with Darker in the corners. Paint the floor orange-brown and the sink pale cream.
4. Paint the table, chairs and bowl light brown. Add the shade under the table with Darker. Paint the clay pots and jug orange-brown.
5. Paint the lemons yellow. Paint the trees outside, the plants and the vine leaves green. Add their shade with Darker.
6. Add the blue stripes on the cloths with the Pencil. Dab the daisies white with Gouache in the palest cream.
