An orange octopus spreads its curly arms over a coral reef under the sea. Purple sea fans, orange sponges and green seagrass grow all around. Sunlight shines down through the blue water. It's a good next step once you've painted a few pictures. Your paint stays inside the lines, so the water won't spill onto the octopus.
How to paint it
- Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the water blue-green. Tap Darker for the deep blue at the sides.
- Paint the sand cream and the far reef dark green. Tap Texture twice and choose Stone. Dab over the rocks on the sea floor.
- Go back to your brush. Paint the sea fans purple and the sponges orange. Add the shade inside each sponge with Darker.
- Paint the octopus orange and its suckers cream. Add the shade under its head and arms with Darker.
- Paint the seagrass green with long strokes and dab the pink coral. Draw the eye with the Pencil and the darkest colour. Dab cream light on the sun rays with Gouache.
