A blue-green tiled fountain with star patterns sits in a sunny courtyard. Lemon trees grow in big orange pots, and pink flowers climb the wall. A tall carved arch leads to steps and another door. It's a good next step once you've painted a few. Your paint stays inside the lines, so each tile colour stays in its place.

How to paint it

  1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the walls and arch light orange. Add the shade inside the arch with Darker.
  2. Paint the steps through the arch cream and the far door blue. Paint the shutters blue, with Darker between the slats.
  3. Paint the floor cream and its star tiles blue. Paint the fountain turquoise and its stars dark blue. Paint the water light blue-green.
  4. Paint the pots orange-brown, with Darker on their shaded sides. Paint the leaves green, the lemons yellow and the flowers pink.
  5. Add the tree trunks and flower stems with the Pencil. Dab cream spray on the fountain with Gouache.
