Canal at Dusk

Pink and gold evening light spreads over a city canal. A stone bridge leads to a church with a round dome. Tall houses and street lamps line the water, and small boats rest by the wall. This is for when you want a longer painting with lots of detail. Your paint isn't kept inside the lines, so go slowly near the edges.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky pink, gold and lavender. Zoom in and use a small brush near the edges.
2. Paint the canal soft blue, with pink and gold light in it. If paint goes over a line, tap Undo.
3. Tap Texture twice and choose Water. Brush ripples across the canal.
4. Go back to your brush. Paint the church soft lavender and the houses warm brown. Paint the bridge light stone colour, with Darker under the arches.
5. Paint the boats cream and the brick wall in front rose-brown. Tap Texture twice and choose Foliage. Dab the trees green and the flowers pink.
6. Add the lamps, railings and windows with the Pencil and the darkest colour. Dab the lamp glow and white flowers with Gouache in the palest cream.
