Lighthouse at Dusk

A white lighthouse stands on rocky cliffs as the sun sets over the sea. A red-roofed cottage and dark pines sit beside it. Waves break in white foam on the rocks, and pink flowers fill the corner. It's for when you want a longer painting with lots of detail. Here your paint isn't kept inside the lines, so take it slowly near the edges.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Zoom in and use a small brush near the edges. Make the brush big and paint the sky orange, then soft blue at the top.
2. Tap Texture twice and choose Clouds. Dab orange where the clouds catch the sun, then soft violet on the rest. If paint goes over a line, tap Undo.
3. Go back to your brush. Paint the far headland dark blue and the sun pale gold. Paint the sun's path on the sea orange, then the rest blue.
4. Tap Texture twice and choose Water. Brush ripples over the sea with Darker.
5. Go back to your brush. Paint the lighthouse and cottage cream, with red roofs. Paint the rocks light brown, then add their shade with Darker.
6. Paint the grass green, the pines dark green and the flowers pink. Dab foam on the waves with Gouache in the palest cream. Dab the lamp pale gold.
