Cottage Garden

A wooden bench sits in a cottage garden full of roses, lavender and daisies. Behind it is a cream wall with blue-green shutters. Past a low stone wall, tall dark trees lead to a hill village. Choose it when you want a long painting with lots of detail. Your paint isn't kept inside the lines, so take it slowly near the edges.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky light blue around the clouds. Zoom in and use a small brush near the edges.
2. Tap Texture twice and choose Clouds. Dab the clouds softly in cream. If paint goes over a line, tap Undo.
3. Go back to your brush. Paint the far hills lavender and the village cream with orange roofs. Paint the cottage wall cream and the shutters blue-green.
4. Paint the bench light brown and the pot orange-brown, with Darker underneath. Paint the stone wall and path beige, then add their shade with Darker.
5. Paint the tree trunk light brown. Tap Texture twice and choose Foliage. Dab the leaves and bushes green, and the tall thin trees dark green.
6. Go back to your brush. Paint the roses coral, the lavender purple and the big daisies pink. Dab the white flowers with Gouache in the palest cream.
