Cottage Front Door

A little cream cottage has a green door, a round window and an orange roof. Pots of pink flowers sit on each side of the steps. A leafy tree leans in from the left. The shapes are big and bold, so it's a good first painting. Your paint stays inside the lines, so the orange roof won't spill onto the sky.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky light blue. Paint the walls cream and add the shade under the roof with Darker.
2. Paint the roof orange, then add the shade under each tile with Darker. Paint the door green and the window light blue.
3. Paint the path cream and the steps and stepping stones light grey. Paint the pots orange-brown and the tree trunk brown.
4. Paint the grass sage green. Tap Texture twice and choose Foliage. Dab the tree and bushes green, with dark green underneath.
5. Go back to your brush. Paint the flowers pink and their leaves green. Add the door knob and flower centres with the Pencil in gold.
