A blue teapot with orange spots sits between two cups on saucers. One cup is striped yellow, the other has spots like the pot. A plate of golden biscuits and a green napkin sit in front. The shapes are big and round, so it's a good first painting. Your paint stays inside the lines, so each spot and stripe stays neat.

How to paint it

  1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the wall cream. Paint the table golden brown, with Darker for the wood lines.
  2. Paint the teapot blue. Add its darker stripes and the shade on its right side with Darker. Paint the spots orange.
  3. Paint the cups, saucers and plate cream. Paint their stripes and rims yellow, and the spots on the right cup orange.
  4. Paint the biscuits gold, with Darker round their edges. Paint the napkin green and its stripes cream.
  5. Add the biscuit holes with the Pencil and the darkest colour. Dab a little white shine on the teapot with Gouache.
