A golden strawberry tart sits on a blue plate on a wooden table. Cut strawberries and green mint leaves sit on top. A red and white striped cloth lies in the corner. The shapes are big and round, so it's a good first painting. Your paint stays inside the lines, so the red fruit won't spill onto the cream.
How to paint it
- Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the table light brown. Add the wood lines with Darker.
- Paint the cloth cream and its stripes red. Paint the plate blue, then add its shade with Darker around the rim.
- Paint the pastry gold, then add the toasted edges with Darker. Paint the filling cream.
- Paint the strawberry centres light orange, then the outsides red. Add their shade with Darker near the edges. Paint the mint leaves green.
- Draw the leaf veins with the Pencil in dark green. Dab a few cream spots on the strawberries with Gouache.
