A blue-green kettle with a silver handle sits on a wooden table in warm light. In front is a small plate of red cherries. A folded cloth with orange stripes lies beside it. The shapes are big and clean, so it's easy for a relaxed session. Your paint stays inside the lines, so the red cherries won't spill onto the plate.

How to paint it

  1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the wall cream. Paint the leaves outside the window green.
  2. Paint the table and chair light brown. Add the shade under the kettle and plate with Darker.
  3. Paint the kettle blue-green, then add its shade on the right with Darker. Paint the handle and lid rim light grey.
  4. Paint the plate and cloth cream, and the stripes orange. Paint the cherries red, then add their shade with Darker.
  5. Add the cherry stems with the Pencil in green. Dab a white shine on the cherries and the kettle with Gouache.
