Seaside Lighthouse Path

A sandy path winds up a green hill to a red and white striped lighthouse. A small cottage with an orange roof stands beside it. Out at sea, white waves break around tall rocks. It's a good next step once you've painted a few pictures. Your paint stays inside the lines, so the red stripes stay sharp against the white.

How to paint it

1. Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the sky blue. Paint the far cliffs light brown.
2. Paint the clouds cream. Tap Texture twice and choose Clouds. Add soft purple dabs along their bottoms.
3. Go back to your brush. Paint the sea blue-green, with deeper blue far out. Tap Texture twice and choose Water, then brush ripples across it.
4. Go back to your brush. Paint the lighthouse stripes red and cream, and the cottage cream with an orange roof. Draw the fence with the Pencil in brown.
5. Paint the rocks and cliffs brown, then add their shade with Darker. Paint the path a sand colour and the grass green. Paint the big spiky leaves sage green.
6. Tap Texture twice and choose Foliage. Dab leaves over the bushes. Dab foam on the waves with Gouache in the palest cream.
