A whole avocado and a cut half sit on a wooden board. Beside them are two red tomatoes, still on the vine. A blue and white striped cloth peeks out underneath. The shapes are big and round, so it's a good first painting. Your paint stays inside the lines, so the red tomatoes won't spill onto the board.
How to paint it
- Choose Watercolour for a soft look or Oil for a bolder one. Make the brush big and paint the wall behind cream.
- Paint the board light brown, then add the shadows beside the fruit with Darker. Paint the stripes on the cloth blue-green.
- Paint the whole avocado and the peel dark green. Paint the cut flesh light green, and pale yellow-green near the seed.
- Paint the tomatoes red, then add their shade on the right with Darker. Paint the seed brown and the leaves green.
- Add the vine stems with the Pencil in dark green. Dab a small white shine on each tomato with Gouache.
